It’s been a long day. I’ve been up since probably 8:30 or so, after another long day and late night with a teething 11-month-old. Everybody is asleep and I’m in my office, doing a little work before I head up for the night. I need to write a blog post, but I feel like I shouldn’t write because it might not be coherent enough. I scan through my list of blog post topics and think “oh! ‘how to create a link in wordpress’! I can do a quick screencast!”
Brilliant idea, until I spend the time making the screencast and realize afterwards that I talked about the wrong topic in the screencast.
Let this be a lesson to you, my friends: Don’t create content at 1 am. Save it for when you’re at the top of your game.
This goes to show you that you’re not the only one who struggles with content creation. I think everybody does. But the more we practice, the better we get.
What else do you struggle with? Drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or comment here and I’ll try to help. At the very least, your question might become the topic of a future blog post. 🙂
