May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

Time flies when you're having fun...or in our case, when you get a new puppy! Doug the Dog Tequila Cree is the newest member of our little team and he likes to spend his time sitting on my lap while I work, and licking my ankles. He's a 5-month-old Chihuahua/Dachsund mix and, at 9 pounds, is liable to get stepped on at any given moment! Big sister Whiskey is happy to have the new boy in the house, even when he's stealing her toys.

As you all know, I am a big fan of dogs, especially shelter dogs. We found Doug at Animal House, here in Fort Collins. Animal House rescues pets from all over the world and are doing a great job of saving them from certain demise. If you are looking for a nice place to donate your end-of-year monies, your local humane society or a private shelter would be a great place to do that.

Reminder

I'll be closed for the long Thanksgiving weekend ... my favorite weekend of the year! I'll be back in, bright and early, on Monday, December 1. Thank you to everyone for your support during the year -- I am grateful for your business and your friendships.

Bargain alert

I got an email from Chronos today that advertises a special they're having until the 30th. Chronos makes some great productivity software, including SOHONotes, which I use daily here in the office to keep track of all of those little bits and clipping that I used to write down on paper and sticky notes. They are offering 50% off on all software (except upgrades)...If that isn't a deal, I don't know what is!
